Last night I had a choice between doing what I wanted (going to watch the bombers ruin terry danihers day) or do what I didnt (go to an old guy from works retirement).. ofcourse I did the latter.

When after rushing to get a car park & eatting my dinner.. I walk out to find a fine for $64 on my window!

F*CK! :spoton:

all the info on is is correct.. EXCEPT the scum bag put "sedan" as the body type!

How can I be excepted to see signs in the poorly lit inner city streets... if this idiot who is getting paid to rip me off cant see what shape my car is!

is it worth tell em to stick it?

or do I just stop complaining and take money out of my modding (bank) account to pay it?

Thanks for the advise guys! :roflmbo:

if you honestly feel that you didn't see the signage due to poor light, or bad placement, I'd raise the issue and see if it helps.. on the other hand, if you knew you were parking illegally, I'd just cop it.. it can't hurt to ask!

I don't normally venture into the inner suburbs.. I go into the city.. but I always park in a paid parking place.

it is very dark on this street & I didn't see the signs.

the guy who wrote the ticket didnt even see I that I dont have a sedan

I know ill prob just end up paying cause I dont have time to argue it

A sneaky way of getting out of paying for parking.

Next time you are booked for parking, open the yellow envelope with a steamer so its not damaged.

remove the ticket from the envelope and replace with an exact same size piece of paper and reseal.

Keep the bogus ticket in the car and when parking place it on the windscreen.

As you cant get booked twice for the same infringement, a parking inspector will just walk by thinking you have a ready have been pinged.

'Life Support' you get some great things from that show.

We don't get any fancy envelopes here in Qld - just a thermal-printed fine from their flash little handheld PC's.

You could try putting it on someone else's windscreen and hope they pay it for you. :w00t2:

you could try writing a letter to them and explaining the situation and take some photos of the place to try and prove the poor lighting thing...

bring up the whole sedan ute thing aswell

I don't like your chances though...

I asked the question when I got fined in my honda.....the kindly police man managed to write sedan when I had a hatch, and got my address wrong, even though he asked if the change of address label was correct.....in the end I was told that the rego was correct, 2 out of 3 aint bad, and that was the end of the arguement.....

yeh I figured they would say 2/3 to me

if I got 2/3 of the sh*t I did at work right.. I would get sacked in about a 4-6 weeks (that's how long it would take before they realised I hadn't purchased 1/3 of the sh*t needed lol)

case closed. ill just pay the barsteds!
