I'm in the process of doing this atm (waiting for a layer of paint to dry) and it's looking pretty sweet so far. I only took the wheel off, left everything else on to do this.

I bought a can of 'VHT Brake Caliper, Drum & Rotor' paint from AutoBarn for $15, the colour is called 'Racing Red'. My T is Bionic Blue, I wanted to get the look of the Premium Brembo breaks without the price (and unfortunately without the performance :( ).

I jacked up one wheel at a time and put newspaper around just about everything except the parts of the caliper I wanted done. I then cleaned it off with some Septone Wax & Grease remover that I had lying around. I then start painting the caliper using short strokes until all visible parts of the caliper had a light layer. I did have some paint running but I wiped that off with some Kimi-Wipes and sprayed over it again to fix it up. Gave it 20 mins and done another layer which would have been enough but I waited another 20 mins and did a third layer just to be sure.

After that I left it to dry for about an hour then pulled the paper off, used the Septone Wax & Grease remover to get rid of any paint that made it's way onto the disk and then put the wheel back on. I also used this as an opportunity to rotate my front and rear tires due to errr.... general wear and tear :D .

I did take a whole heap of photo's on my mobile but the bloody thing wont transfer files atm. I'll try and get something up later.

Very easy and cheap job to do. Requires very few tools or knowledge and looks great!
