BF II Manual

This is the first performance car I've ever sat in that doesn't have a clear 'Don't rev me past here' line on the tacho. I've looked backwards and forwards through the manual and there isn't anything other then the usual To obtain the best all round performance for this vehicle it is recomended not to exceed 4000rpm (Yeah right!)

Can anyone help me out here? I'm guessing around the 6K mark, but it'd be nice to know.

Also does it have a soft cut or hard cut revlimiter?

give it a few RPM out of gear and see where it start bouncing!

:roflmbo:

good question though, im not too sure myself.

Also if you rev way too hard you will get a charge light up on the dash (rod has just knocked altenator off block) :roflmbo:

it has a variable rev limit, depending on the conditions and what gear your in. Its about 5500rpm and when you hit it, it feels like the engine has fallen out of the car.

I think it might be slightly higher then 5500, but not quite 6000. But when you hit you'll know, just make sure you have ya seatbelt on or you'll fly the the windscreen! lol

does it really say dont rev it past 4000?

...they put that in there so they can go "sir u have reved your engine past 4000 once, we cant repair your engine that has fallen out due to our poor quality standards"

drive down the road flat stick 1st gear then when you head but the steering wheel you've found your rev limiter

Forgot I was in manual mode one time, stopped at the lights, took off thinking 'hey somethings not right ere' and Bang!! Nearly flew out the windscreen....

Another time I flashed in the rev limiter tune by accident... revs only to 4000rpm I was doing bunny hops as if I was driving a manual hahahahaha
