Just dropped into to the newsagency had a quick read, 7.0ltr engine. No details on body but will reportedly using some of the corvette gear eg. drivetrain

APS have developed a twin turbo kit for the LS7 engine that will be in this car. It's for the US corvette. With twin 600hp turbos it should make 600-700 hp out of the stock engine, perhaps more.

That's Dream Car material.

It would be interesting to see how many of these cars get modified.

If ppl do put TT kits on the gts-r then we're all in trouble :spoton:

I wreckon its 385Kw numbers will be as accurate as its claimed fuel efficiency and quater mile times.

Didnt Expensive Daewoo try a 7.0Litre Monaro a few years back which never went on sale and was also over the $100K mark.

We're screwed.

I suppose it’s not bad for $120k but then again that’s only 290rwks. My Ute made 330rwks with Injectors, Exhaust and edit so for a couple of grand ontop of the purchase price of an F6 you would blow it away!!! Then if you were to spend the other $50k left over I’m sure you could do a Simon and have her pumping out 540rwkws and still take a trip around the world with spending money.

I think Ill stick to my F6 thanks

That sounds awesome. I know this engine in the current z06 (1450kg but) does mid to low 11's stock. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Late model camira do low 12's to high 11's.

As for ford, they've got the supercharged 5.4 (as fitted to the GT 500 Mustang and GT40) sitting on the shelf if they want it. It has 373kw in the mustang and over 400 in the GT40.

But at $120k, there won't be much of a market for it I would have thought. Chances are ford aus won't bother I guess. But I'd love to see a hipo typhoon released, which should be able to match it at a far lower cost

damn that would be a beast.....not looking forward to it if it gets released... I would love ford to bring out something crazy....maybe a gt-ho....knocking on the door of 400kws and doing the name sake proud...even if it is only a limited run of 50, least we would still have a bragging car...ha ha....I would like to be able to say a stock ford blows the doors off a Expensive Daewoo with out having to mod it....regardless of the fact that a Late model camira cost 50k more...would still like a 70k ford to waste a 120k holden...

I wonder if they'll paint them that poxy yellow like the old vr-vs gtsr's?and have those ridiculous wings lol
