Apparently in the BF they are the same. It changed sometime during the BA2, so some will have the better motor.

correct me if im wrong but interals differences would be stronger valve springs and conrods in the f6....

theres nothing diffferent between the BF and the F6 internal wise.

only difference between them is the cooler and stock tune

im under the impression that post may 06 have the tyohoon bottom end.

there may be some bf 1s that have the weaker rods. :tease:

Pre May 06 XR6T engines ALL have weaker rods, this means ALL BA models, and some BF Series 1.

Im happy to be told Im talking out my butt but dont the phoons also have INDEPENDENT VCT as part of their tuning the XR's dont (dont think I ever saw any proof this was actual hardware diffs though)?

This is not specific to the phoon, but ALL BF's have independently variable VCT's and ALL BA model car have not (they vary exhaust and inlet side at the same time)
