Difinately sounds like a vacuum hose

not trying to be a smart arse would like to honestly know why you think this, wouldn't it be a bit more of a constant problem if it is vacuum hose and why would revving it help

Got me there... Maybe a blockage in a vacuum hose. Just sounded similar to a problem I had in my T, but as you say it was constant not intermittant.

As any D.I.Y. Mechanic knows revving it always helps any problem. :tease:
