I came to a stop and then took off as usuall. The car felt like it was stuck in top gear and it felt like the clutch was slipping. The D on the dash was flashing. I pulled over, turned the car completely off, restarted the engine and drove away. No more problems. Is this the start of another bigger problem? Mine has done this once in in 4 years and as you said, shut it off, turn it back on and all is OK. That was a year ago. Mine was caused by a bad reading from the oxygen sensor. Dealer cleared the fault and that was it. Wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening and probably doesn't mean there is a trans problem. Could it be something major? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/36109-whats-wrong-with-the-transmission/#findComment-550964 Share on other sites
