Can anyone please offer some insight as to where the F6 boost gauge is plumbed into? I have read a few topics discussing plumbing the boost sender into the blow off valve however I have been advised that this may not produce the most accurate readings. Does anyone know of another location along the line where I could install the sender?

Cheers,

I have a mate who is the service manager at City Ford in Melbourne and he said that it's a whole different wiring loom. So hooking up F6 gaugues can't be done. Sorry

Cheers,

F6 is electric, and as such has a sender unit in the engine bay (I believe it is on the intercooler). That way, it only has an electrical signal running into the cabin (hence, via a harness).

When plumbing to BOV as you describe (like most of us), you are running a mechanical gauge. Mechanical means you are actually tapping in a vacuum line and running it into your cabin.

As to actually plumbing for accuracy, someone else is best suited to answering that question. The BOV plumbing is quick and easy.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers
