I have been reading about these bungs.....reckon mine will have to go very quickly. My question is....has anyone measured the power gains, if any, of the bung removal.thanks in advanceSeat of the pants was about 20RWHP.Plug removal, injectors & tune gained 80RWHP. I hear reference to this continually from members of the dark side and thought it was some sort of aftermarket exhaust system commodores use frequently? If it is colloqial term for an EXHAUST system then I'm sorry but it sounds lame. Are all of you absolutely certain that the bung does not affect emission control? Tampering with that will cost you big time and with the louder note sooner or later constable plod (a knowledgeable one) or the EPA will twig and force you to fork out for an emission test that you really, really want to pass and that's talking from experience!. ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 11d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 16/12/07 10:39 PM Share Posted 16/12/07 10:39 PM I have debunged my Exhaust. As for emissions, the exhaust is stock, it looks like the only reason they blocked one pipe is for noise and throttle response. The exhaust looks stock because it is stock, so I would think the EPA/Cops would have no interest in trying to find fault with it. Went with the persuasion method and lo and behold it works. Worked so well that my bung literally fell out the input end.Sounds good and I'm not sure on power improvements but it does feel a bit quicker off the mark. Thanks for a good right up the 25mm bar was spot on.CheersDarren
