Smylie I would, It carnt hurt.

You will still need to gap them to atleast 8 mm, and Ford Motorcraft plugs seem to be good aswell as NGK.

All you need is a fealler gauge then find 8mm thickness then start off gently and tap the ends on something solid until you reach a good fit.

It is a decent job to remove and replace them as you will need a few tools, you have to remove the cross over pipes and the plastic rocker cover.

PS, go for the typhoon plug as they are slightly colder then the T's.

Adamw good to hear mate. It makes it the car it should be.

Smylie, do you work for Hidden Valley Motors?

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the flash tuner :slap:

Chucked in the 8psi tune for last night for a bit of fun - one word, awesome - and no sign of pinging or flat spots etc.

Adam

Adam,

After flashing to the 8psi tune how easy was it to select rev? I can get into Rev but it's alot firmer.

No difference to selecting reverse.

Bugger, Just spoke to KPM today. Have to send my box back to be reprogramed to the car :bye: . Bye Bye to 8psi for now :crybaby:, have to flash back to factory. Man this is going to suck, but should sort out the reverse issue. Never know might improve the tune in other areas as well :buttrock:

I just want to make sure everyone knows about the dyno comp tommorow.

We have to get there around 9:30 for a 10AM start.

adamw this would be a good day to load up your 10psi tune with some good fuel and make sure it is running safe.

Entry is $60, see the National Shootout form for details.

Even if you dont want to enter just come down and say gday.

Serious short notice, but I will be there.

How many cars have been lined up for the comp.

Might have a chance if only two show up. :spoton:

I'll flash mine back to stock and come down for a before and after dyno run (I'll give them a call in the morning first to check that its OK). I'm only going to run the 8psi tune - check that its safe and get a power reading.. hoping for 200rwkw stock to 230rwkw or so with the tune :) Probably dreaming ...
