Track day 1 for FG falcon.

Lots of stone chips :( doesn't matter.. It does really :(

Car on the other hand ran 1:29 which was the third fastest in my class.

Bob from car concepts ran 1.25 (xr6 turbo ute) and some other guy ran like a 1.26, but

he stripped his interior (xr8) and semi-slicks.

I decided to only run 2 races as I have such low kms and no oil cooler. Only problems

I had was over heating problems right on the last lap.

Oh yeah the track was hidden valley raceway

Yep I got heaps of stone chips from the powercruise. Heaps!. I just ordered touchup paint from Ford. Do they ever sweep the track?

I would think not, unless the V8's are up. I guess that's what we are going to get if we are going to run them on the track.

My rims got a few chips off too, but such is life.

All I can think about is avoiding the all in warm up and stay clear of other cars on the race track.

Well its really a choice out of Hi-Tech and Peckys as Concept use Hi-Tech.

Yes I had the same issues with Concept even though my CAI has the same filter and the box its in is bigger and alot better up here I get told he doesnt wanna touch, its a shame when people think there parts are superior.. Mixing and matching is the best thing I say... One place might have awesome CAI one might have awesome I/C.. Looking at there I/C I didnt like them too much..

Also I like Peckys because he is picky, he wont touch stuff he doesnt wanna touch... And plus he tuned my mates dads GT40 to perfection!

I might have a chat to Rob Herrod about car consepts. Might tell him to pull his head in abit. I know that John and Rob would never turn a car away

but from what I have heard if its not Herrod gear he doesn't want to help.

Got my tune from herrod, very happy with it no problems at all

But here a example of Bob. We have a small group tha does track days, if we want to use semi slicks we have to buy rims and tyres from bob to mke it fair.

But anyone can use any brakes and do anything to the motor... how is that fair.

Big weekend this weekend! Its Long and Big!

Installing my HDi Front Mount I/C, GSS342 Walbro Fuel Pump, 8mm Gapped Spark Plugs, New Turbo (Has .7 compressor housing) and also the ETM Oil Line and Filter... Then on Wednesday go into HiTune to get her tuned but before I go inside put in my 60lb Siemens Injectors.

Has anyone ordered gear from Rapid and had it delivered to N.T.? just want to know how long it took, been two weeks for mine

Yeah it took like two weeks to just get my Plazmaman oil cap from Chris. Everything takes twice as long to arrive in Darwin.
