No mods really to speak of, my BF has only done 15,000 km. I didn't want to do any mods to date for two reasons:

1) Void Warranty

2) I'm not keen on local turners

I've done the basic non-warranty voiding mods (KN filter, 2nd CAI). As for reason 1), Stuff it I want to have fun now

If a turner is coming to Darwin, I plan on getting a bang for buck, SCT Livewire (if they have sorted their problems out), injectors, and eBay intercooler. I don't think I will play with the exhaust yet. I'm not after huge Kws.

Hi Norrs, the workshops that do tuning are very limited and about to become non existent with the closure of Hi tech.

If you want a quick power up I would suggest buying a flash tuner loaded with a couple of generics, any of our sponsors would be able to help you out with that.

This will give you enough power to play most of the ricers and commos that frequent darwin.

If you see me out, come over and say hello.

I drive a rapid BA with a Bob tail and a Forum sticker on the back window. :spoton:

A big hi to all the guys at the friday night drags at Hidden Valley, it was the biggest turn out of xr6t I have seen in a long time.

Quickest for the night was Yellow turbo with a 13.5** , then me with a 13.697@106.38mph 60ft- 2.279 and Adamw with 13.8**

Not the best place for good times with a ambient temp of 29 degs and a track temp of 31 degs but fun was had by all. :crybaby:

Yeah that was great fun.. I'll be back for the next one (colder night)

My slips say the track temp was 45 degrees!

13.8 @ 105mph was my best I think. I really have a long way to go on my 60fts couldn't get below 2.4, the track was utterly ridiculous.. I could hear all the T's spinning into 3rd.

Results are here

Interesting on my run with the slick tyred Clubsport I still ran higher mph and he ran 12.9.

Next track meet at hidden Valley coming up soon:

It's just like the drags, except when you get to a corner, turn.

P.S All ready now that we've passed Daddy school Brad?

Hi guys

Anyone local (Darwin) interested in an airbox lower half with the factory F6 cutout for the CAI? Comes with the CAI as well. It's not an XR6T box with a hole cut in it. I'm going to put my factory airbox lower half back in before the car sells.

Also got TheMeshMan grills top and bottom but I think they only fit a BF/BF2.

Sad about the car leaving already and it doesn't have a 100% definite buyer yet :(

Adam

Good luck with selling the car, as for the airbox put it in the for sale section you may get more bites.

Yeah the drags were great...

I ran at 13.524 at 108mph.... Grip is a problem and the manuals are hard to get

down the strip. I was making about 265rwkw...well maybe not a 29deg...

Had fun sticking it to the Expensive Daewoo boys.....

Next time semi slicks....
