Now that the shakes have finally stopped I can say what a great day Sunday's track day was.It was at good turn up with heaps of different car types, stand outs of the day where the GT3RS yum, a very quick turbo toyota starlet and the drifting black Late model camira ute with the aerobrake (hard covers are good for something)The T put in some good hard laps, Turn one gets a bit hairy pulling down from 200kph by lap 3 to take the hairpin. It took awhile to trust the abilities of the falcon but in the end I think the limits of the driver where found before the cars.Special shout out to Phil and Sixfan, Phil for showing me how well an xr6 Au ute goes around the track, I only really had him on the straights and to Sixfan for giving a couple of hot laps in the passenger seat of the EVO, that thing is nuts, brakes and corners like no other car I have been in, had an absolute ball, I think it was a combination of 80% excitement and 20% absolute terror ( it could have been the other way round). Brought the car home the same condition as I started, less half a tank and a few mills off the rubber, so I was very happy with that.The only bummer was it was stinking hot, but a couple of after race beers fixed that.
