Next street meet is the 18th. I'm planning on going. Got my new yoko's and brakes that work. Actually there is a Expensive Daewoo v Ford night coming up on the 12th

And Noors, yes your correct this weekend the Expensive Daewoo V Ford battle, but dont get to excited everytime I go to the drags im the only B series Ford besides the Beat the Heat, last time there was an AU there but besides that its quite a lonely Ford turnout.

Dam wouldn't mind bringing my T to this last meet in october :( but car is overboosting at the moment and won't have a dyno tune done till end november when I have time to get the car off the road.

Gday everyone, Im not very aware of any good tuners in darwin, If anyone here knows of a decent tuner in darwin that would be very helpful!

Ive got Rapid v3.0, 60lb Injectors, Walbro fuel pump, 4" Dump, 5"Cat and 3'5" Cat back.

Not much choice mate. I don't think anyone can claim to have much experience with tuning T's.

Some go to Pecky's, D&T and Car Concepts. Others go to Hitech Tuning. All have had good reports all have had bad reports. I was chatting to a couple of blokes at the Drags on Friday night (one was a T owner) they had been to tuners recently and ended up with worse ET's.

I personally don't trust anyone up here to do a Custom tune unless I was forced to get one. I told Mick from Pitlane (site sponsor) what my mods were and he sold me a XCal2 with a couple of tunes. I had it checked at Hitech Tuning and Dave said it was perfect and one of the best he had seen. Nothing had to be change. Lucky I guess.

I suggest getting a box and generic tune from a site sponsor and then getting it checked by any of the above (except Car Concepts as Bob doesn't have a dyno as far as I'm aware, he just gets tunes sent up from Herrod - correct me if I' wrong, I don't want to piss anyone off). If it is no good then you'll have to bite the bullet and get a local custom tune.

One day one of the site sponsors might agree to come up here if we get enough cars lined up to tune. Then I'll get a custom one (or at least a wetseason one). This has been discussed before but it never happened. I bloke I met at the drags was keen.

BTW - Friday night was first time competing at the Drags. Frickin hot night. My car went great but the driver needs more practice. I had about 5 runs and now getting the hang of it. Best was 13.599. I sussed launching with a .411 now I need to work on my shift points and improving my burnout. Hopefully next season I'll break 13.

Well should have my car back in two weeks after a minor MVA that wasn't my fault. I have booked my car in at pecky's for mid next month and get my Deka 60ln injectors and surge tank w/ 044 bosch pump and a 300-320rwk tune just wondering whats happening around late November? any cruises planned or street drags at Hidden Valley? will defenitaly by then hanging for some drag/track action by then as got a voucher to drive a Ford BA V8 race preped car at end of this month can't wait!!....
