Hi guys,

Had this problem for a while, thought better put it to you guys before taking to an auto elec.

My parker lights work and so do the foglights & high beams, but my main headlights won't work.

I have checked to fuses in the fuse box and have tested them with the multimeter and they are fine !

What else could it be ? From memory both sides stopped working at the same time, so that's what's got me buggered. Could it just be that both side's burnt out at the same time ? too much of a coincidence if you ask me, but don't wanna fork out for new globes if it's not the problem .

Any suggestions ?

Thanks guys,

Alex.

I had the exact same problem and from memory, I think it was a faulty combination switch which Ford replaced under warranty.

Hope this helps buddy

Have you tried to replace the globes ?

They can go together and it would be the best place to start. The highbeam will still work as there are 2 filliments in the H4 main beam globes.

Start with the basics.

Hey Guys, I know this is an old thread... Just wondering for those of you who have had to buy a new light/wiper/indicator combination assembly, how much did it cost?

My headlight switch has just failed, and I have to get new one next week... Only thing is its a long weekend here and nothing is open until Tuesday.

Cheers,

Ross
