Hey all, first time poster just bought a new BF Mk2 turbo ute, just awaiting delevery... Im just wondering what can be done to get a better exhaust note with out going to the expence of replacing the entire system. Im not really interested in removing the center muffler after reading all the pro's and cons in the other posts in here, anyway any help would be much appreciated

Hey dude, we have BA xr6t sedan and are real happy with Redback cat back system. It still replacing half of the exhaust system but it does produce a nice burble at idle and not too loud under load. It ended up being exactly what we were looking for on daily driver.

Cheers

Do not remove the centre muffler from a ute it sounds sh#t house. I have noticed under my new fpv tornado fpv has changed the rear muffler and sounds a bit meatier than my bf ute that was written off

Hard to say. Only had the car a few weeks before the exhaust change so it was difficult to compare. It would be seat of the pants stuff anyway, no real tangible data to analysis. In theory, it should help HP because its 1/4" larger in pipe size than std.

Next on the list is a high flow cat. Hopefully, this will help with spooling turbo up

Cheers

Did you have the hot dogs or straight through pipe? I have heard that its not to bad with the dogs in. I am thining of doing it for the sound factor.

Hey,

What kind of system is that? is it stainless steel?

Is it from the Cat back or do you have a high flow cat too? And what's the best size to get for a nice sound? I was thinking 3" maybe 3 1/2"

I use mine for everyday use too so I don't want to have anything too loud.

What kind of price should I be expecting to pay do you think?

Maybe we could look into doing a group buy if the numbers are right
