Well im still only looking at it. Bit hard when its 1800klms away..... Gunna do the REVS check and get him to get a RWC on it, then take a 2hr plane trip to test drive it.....

mines citric acid color well newer version Toxic Green and mods down bellow. With 30k on the clock and leather seats with momo steering wheel. In manual 2006 june. Model.

As for the brake shudder, apparently the guy said it had the front rotors replaced only recently.

The ute im looking at is Auto. Not sure on the month.

IMO the price is way too high. I have seen quite a few BA XRs lately, even 04, as I am in the market too. I am in Brisbane, but even with 60K on an 04, You can get your 18s and flash tuner and a few other goodies for about $22-25 depending on options.

What price is citric worth. At that price I would try looking interstate too, I mean if you gotta fly to look at this one, why not fly to Syd or Melb too?

Mate, $30k for a series I Ba is a bit steep

You could buy FPV TRANNY's white one with similar km's, Get it sprayed citric, get injectors, custom tune and still come out paying less than $30k.

I'm actually seriously thining of a BA MK2 XR6T. I got around 30K to spend as well but I'm after a sedan. Blueprint or Silver would be my fav color. I been driving fords since got my license but last time around I did the mistake of buying a BMW, while not a bad car it's small, not very powerfull ( I got the 6cyl engine) and chews quite a bit of fuel, time go go back to the blue oval!

Question I have (and sorry for hijacking the thread) is manual or auto? I will mod it! and I'll be after around 280kw@rw. The T56 will be strong enough? I know in my EF I put a T5 and that box din't look too strong after a year of pedaling.

Had a look at redbook and I was like wtf? where do you get those prices from? either that or my barganing skills suck!

I heard the BA's had problem with the front end, is that fix with the MK2?
