Is the skid pan still open? I went there a couple of years back for a SAU day and it cost around $120 for 3 hrs on the skid pan then 3 hrs on the LVMA but I remember reading somewhere that they dont allow that sort of event any more...

there does not appear to be a notification on the website to that effect.

we should all hold a street drift event with 1000+ cars drifting on the streets.... and have signs on our windows saying "we would rather be doing this at Mt Cotton skid pan but Judy Spence thinks its not a good idea"

have done a few 'pan days with sdt. The hardest bit is actually getting track time, usually have to book many months in advance. I'd be keen if it gets organised ;-)

hahaha yea, when I lived up in bundaberg few weeks after they closed down the drag strip and skid pan street racing and drifting has gottin huge.. dumb asses lol all they have to do is let us do it in a safe organised event so all out 'urges' can be releasd
