I think to start with a poll on which way to go.

1

keep with current format and try to make it a fair playing ground.

2

Start a more relevent more interesting competion involving more Manufacture's.

Setup using Holmogation of Factory vehicle's.

In the same by doing so will make the sport a more affordable sport.

Teams would not struggle to stay in competition (Hell maybe a group of us guy's could even get a car onto the track for this comp).

Development would pay off in having better vehicle's for the public.

eg the 5.4 boss engine would be used and it is the same as what we get in the GT/GTP we purchase, not a old push rod Windsor motor that will never be allowed to fit due to emission's unless it was run on LPG only.

Could you imagine in this one eg after say 3 years of development how much better it would be.

This will relate with all OEM parts being used.

To keep it interesting you allow freedoms in exhaust's, intake's, Fuel systems, and tuning.

(These are the most common things everyone alter's for there road cars)

To raise the power levels and sound factor.

Set control items to keep costs down Tyre's, Brake's, Fuel etc

If you havn't already noticed this is the way my vote would be on option 2.

I don't know how to set up a poll or I would have done it by now, So if either a Moderator or someone else can do it lets get it rolling.

So what was the illegal parts being used?

Brake rotors (From report by 888)

Or

Pads (Courier Mail)

Or was it both?

How long do you thing Vodaphone will stay as sponsor to 888 if this crap keeps happening?

Ford Australia should just pull out of v8 supercars and start a new comp that will include Mitsibishi and Toyota and any other manufacturer that wants to join in being base on full size sedan racing.

Bring back the minimal production rule as this time around it should work better as standards are in place for manufacturer's so building low volume race cars won't happen again.

As have control componants set out like brake's, tyre's, fuel etc etc.

have higher numbers required for hologation so if a manufacture tries to use expensive componants it will cost them to do so.

Eg one manufacturer decides to include say full adjustable suspension it will have to have sold a set high figure of these componants fitted to the model being sold.

They can't use this from one model and that from another and can't say they have a projected quanity of these cars to be sold with all componants fitted and use them before having sold the required quanity.

If they want to use different spring rates and size's they will need to be supplied and sold with the model being used.

Wouldn't that be great to be able to buy a new Ford that came with a variety of spring's and full adjustable susspension.

I know there would be good backing from other manufacturer's to start a series.

Leave gmh to play there own game with themselfs GAME OVER crummy beats all crummyies in race.

gmh has cried for years to not allow other manufacturer's into the sport as it knows it could not screw over a mulitude of manufacturer's and keep having rules invented to suit them.

And not to mention gmh not having a modern hi tech engine which has been gmh's cry in not letting others join.

GMH: We havn't got a competitive engine to compete against Ford, Toyota and Mitsibishi it won't be fair on us. we will have to actually start spending money on a true quality engine and won't be able to run the current scam of rigging a championship so that our cheap poorly made dinosour pushrod engine's look like the v8 supercar legend they are known as.

Ford has been held back for years because of this and should look at promoting it's current hardware on offer in a real series, even if it is a production based series it will be way more enjoyable than the current series.

gmh could change the series to the crummydore cup once Ford have pulled out. Albeit it would be just as exciting as watching the hq kingswood series.

Sorry but this spell check does not work.

Or should that of been doesn't work?

I click on it and it comes up with ieSpell not detected. Click ok to go to down load page.

I may have to go back to school and try to learn how to spell.

I though I could get by in life with my high grades for Math's, Tech Drawing, CAD, Machining, Welding, Fabrication and of cause Automotive Mechanic's.

Must admit I did fail English at school.

It was to boring having to read books about pelicans, spiders and some others that where so boring I can't even recall.

I much preferred to be thinking about my next ride on my Trail bike.

Also I like things that challenge my mind like mentioned stuff above.

Tab and phantomchic please continue to be my Forum spell check tools.

"Homologation" is thas battar di yuu no whit I mian naw thit at as spilt wright.

Homogenisation? Goes hand-in-hand with pasteurisation.

They do it to cow juice; might help with cars as well. :roflmbo:

if only we could get yeast and gluten free we might be onto something here :spoton:
