honestly, my five year old sums up the maturity of this thread when he puts on the "Its not fair!!" followed by pretruding bottom lip, tears in eyes, and finally full blown tantrum..... he gets the same response you guys will, bugger all, why, because there are ways to voice your feelings/opinions to get what you want, or influence your surroundings...as a five year old, he has time to learn this, as for the rest of you??

and I'm pathetic because I think acting like a child, whilst being on the internet is stupid....

You assume none of us have written to Ford, Avesco, Toll HSV and even Rick Kelly.

I fail to see any immiturity other than yours. Imagine telling a bunch of dedicated fans to just get over it. It is you who needs to grow up. If the cheating doesn't bother you, don't comment about it, just be conetnt to sit back and watch the pretty cars go around the track, because it obvoiusly doesn't matter to you what the result is or how it's acheived. Or are you just too stoned to notice. Mature is being able to have a discussion about an issue, not getting shirty because others won't follow your example and ignore it.

I will back this up 100% and help in what ever way I possibly can.

This was a tread on how Ford are being screwed over and Jamie Whincup/888 just happen to be the latest victims.

before starting any partition or poll how about a thread to gather all info on dates events on all the times Ford have been subjected to unfair rulings and have been taken out to stop a Ford from winning.

This way we can build a solid case to present.

which way will we head.

To try and fix v8 supercars or try to have Ford venture to a better comp as I stated earlier in using current hardware which will help develop our road cars into a better vehicle and at same time relate to what we drive.

Also not to mention a bigger variety of model's, manufacture's.

Maybe do a poll to see which way everyone would want the sport to go.

Then decide on what we will partition on and put forward to either Ford or the governing body of v8 supercars.

This could be a huge move into a bigger and better competition that does relate to us Ford owner/supporter's.

finally something constructive and useful, this is what will make a difference... I'd like to think maybe someone, somewhere actually understood what the hell I was on about, but unfortunately, Tab excluded, thick as housebricks comes to mind....

tmac, maturity would also come from being able to argue your point without petty little bullsh*t stabs at the person you are argueing with, a point somewhat lost on most here, FFS you guys cant even be adult enough to correctly type my username without using school kid jokes, I've had my childhood questioned, its been mentioned I'm on drugs, and been told my opinion is pathetic, I've had posts edited by moderators claiming personal attacks for far less.....

I have been an avid watcher of V8 's for years. Yes there is a bias towards HRT and Expensive Daewoo teams in general. I'm sick of the blantant leaniency shown to the Kellys and HRT/Toll. I would imagine so are Ford.

I believe Ford should drop the hole V8 thing.

They have a real weapon in the Typhoon with an engine that has been proven to produce 1000 hp and then some so why stuff about with these dinosaur push rod things. They should build a real race car and take it to Le Mans and compete there. Or better still start there own series that has no parity rules BS.

Best engineered car wins if you can't keep up F*ck you piece of crap off.

It still amazes me that given the so called advantages and advances in design of the new V8 cars Lowndes and others still hold lap records back in the days VS. Parity is designed to stifle engineering excellence.

There is no such thing as a level playing field any where in life so why try to make it happen in motorsport. The closest thing you would ever get to it, would to have 31 cars all built by HRT and have the same 31 clones of Skaife and Kelly's.

One thing we fail to realise is that there are other Expensive Daewoo teams that are just as cheated as Ford drivers.

IF it was Holdens getting the favoritsim, then it would be cut and dried, but it seems to ONLY be HRT/TOLL that get the rose coloured views.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out for the rest of this year. We might see the last year of Ford vs Expensive Daewoo in V8 Supercars, as I feel the critisisim is gaining momentum.

As for the DEBATE.

Please keep persoanl attacks out of this thread. Laner is entitled to voice his opinion. If you cannot reply without personal attacks, then please keep quiet.

We are all very passionate about our motor racing, so we should listen (or read) other opinions and shoot them down with creative and constructive replys. Presonal attacks will not be tollerated.
