tmac, I want you to find your proof of multiple team ownership, YOU find it, bring it to me, we can sit down and have a beer and discuss it....no quoting what other people have said, find the piece of paper that has the proof....it wont exist, walkinshaw found a hole in the rules, makes him smarter than the rest. fact is, you want us to prove someone innocent, doesnt it work the other way....they had problems proving ownership at the beginning of the season, its sorted now, end of arguement, you still pissed at the rock that took out Dick Johnson??

if we dont agree with your opinion, we are wrong, yet it seems, as Tab hinted, that you may not have the entire world in your corner... when you actually look at the full field of cars, there's slow falcons and commodores, its just the difference between the top 4 of each that seems so different, as witnessed yesterday, every dog has its day....fans have faith that it will be sooner rather than later, they dont whine and look for a villian to blame....

Lets clear this up once and for all.

I have acknowledged that I am basically on the same wave length as Tab at least (Laner, your last post was the most sensible you've made, although, your womanly whining seems to outdo most.).

I have said nothing different than most, and that is that the V8s have been obviously unfair and slanted for some time now. I have also said, that if you read all of the articles, even the info provided by AVESCO, it is obvious that the HRT/Toll investigation was half-hearted at best, certainly nothing concrete. Why (as acknowledged by AVESCO) was the HRT investigation dropped after HRT made a large donation to AVESCO? If I have to offer solid written evidence to prove my side of the story, then so do you. This is not a court, it is an enthusiests forum, and area to express opinions or air grievances (even if there is no result). And WTF does DJs rock have to do with anything?

I will admit, that others (I have been grouped with) have taken things a little too far with their extremist views (I put that down to just being a frustrated fan). You would also have to admit that 90% of the posts on this thread concur that the series is unfair (you included). Why then is it so far removed for someone to point this out?

But, what gets my goat is a couple of clowns offering nothing to the discussion other than belittling everyone else's comments (even going as far as starting a new thread with idiotic comments). You say if we can't change things, don't bother, but that could be said about a lot of the threads on this site.

Finally, I totally agree with Zap, it is the other Expensive Daewoo teams that are getting screwed over the most as far as the ownership rule goes.

Toss HSV’s Garth Tander leads from Steven Richards and

If you look in this last paragraph you will see that even the official v8 supercar site even calls them Toss.

And as for putting it down as hrt/toss it is because they are one team.

Who are the immature one's, who have started a thread, once again mocking our concerns and expressions from this thread.

You seem to have a huge following on that thread don't you.

I have never said everyone has to agree with my expressions.

I have asked for people's view's on why they don't agree with what Iam expressing.

I am prepaired to listen and think about what you put accross, Iam not going to mock you for your beleif's as everyone is intitled to what they want to beleive and listen to I will not say you are wrong and never have said you where wrong.

Please point me where I have said your view's where wrong.

I may have questioned your views to try to see it from your perspective but as far as I know I have not said you where wrong at anything you have said.

So what I have come to is that you laner know that hrt/toss are not playing by the rules and that they have beaten the system which makes it alright by you because tw is smarter than everyone else.

Is this your view or am I missunderstanding you.

The thing is the rules state you must clearly be able to prove ownership, it's like when you register your car if you can't prove ownership the DOT won't allow you to register it.

As for it all being sorted and alright. It was sorted by a FINACIAL AGREEMENT between Tega and skaife.

Would you like to see the extract on the agreement that was made?

If that doesn't say bribe you tell me why it makes it ok after skaife making a FINACIAL AGREEMENT.

As for the DJ Rock, thanks dim wit gmh fan as it helped DJ in his career. If it wasn't for that rock Ford may have not had the victories DJ won as he may not of had the funds to keep at it.

He was leading for the first 17 laps wasn't it (anything could have happened before the end of the race..

If that rock hadn't taken him out he may have not have won the race anyway. due to poor brake wear other entered 's suffered that race.

Who won that race just seems as the only thing memorable about that race was DJ being taken out by that mega dollar rock.

I also agree with Zap, it is the other Expensive Daewoo teams that are getting screwed over the most as far as the ownership rule goes.

Imagine having to give all your secrets to them, how would you ever be able to win as you have only your own data and hrt/toss have all the gmh teams data to sort through to find the best advantages each other team has found. and the fact that hrt/toss share there data between themselfs, talk about these poor little gmh pawns getting screwed.

Please offer some imput to this debate weather it be in agreeance or against, Please explain your view's.

this really is getting tiresome, the original point of THIS thread was that Whincup was disqualified, my initial post (go back to page one and you'll find it) was that 888 admitted to the error, move on..... that's all I stated, we then got off topic and started the whole, its not fair that HRT/Toll have a 4 car team, totally irrelavant to this topic, so being unable to contain myself, I stirred a little, it couldve ended there as easily as you mumbling "that Laner is a wa*ker" under your breathe, but it had to go on.....somewhere along the line, tmac decided to dive in and hammer his opinion into the arguement.....where is this history lesson leading us you ask??

I have always stated that its sh*t that ford are struggling, its f*cked that Expensive Daewoo seem to get a better deal with the stewards etc....I just didnt, and still dont see the point of posting facts (I use the term loosely) in here, that you, or anyone else cannot back up with anything more than absolute bias towards one side of the story....Skaife (that's big nose to anyone confused) paid to cover his arse over ownership rights....where is that in reliable print, were you at that meeting? did you have anything to do with this transaction? my guess is NO, therefore you cannot say you know what happened, simple, I'm not saying I agree with the outcome, I'm saying, I know I dont know the facts, so I will only make comment on what I do know.....

I'm a Ford supporter, I want Ford to win, I will support my team through the good and the bad, and I'll take it on the chin when anyone who is a Expensive Daewoo supporter puts sh*t on me.....its called losing gracefully....

its disappointing we cant all agree considering we're all on the same side, but I guess some people take the elavator to the top, others the stairs.....

Statement from Triple Eight Race Engineering

Tuesday, June 12 2007

As a result of a post race Stewards enquiry Triple Eight Race Engineering has accepted the Stewards findings of a breach of technical specifications concerning the rear brake discs of car # 88 in the final V8 Supercar race at Eastern Creek Raceway today.

Triple Eight accepts responsibility for the disqualification of Jamie Whincup's result from Race 3, a consequence of mistakenly using 2006 specification discs.

The error occurred due to the Team including a number of 2006 specification discs sets in the truck spares for Eastern Creek which were to be used on the spare car for the Team's ride days planned for Tuesday and Wednesday this week. It is normal practice to use up redundant stocks of parts on the ride car in this way. Alcon, the suppliers of the control discs for the Category in 2007, were happy to confirm to the Stewards that there was no performance advantage to be gained from using the older, heavier, 2006 specification discs.

A simple mistake was made and, whilst there was no performance gain or advantage in running the old spec discs, Triple Eight Race Engineering acknowledge there was a breach of the technical rules and accepts the penalty imposed.

Whincup's revised meeting points put him in back to fifth place and his new Championship total sees him tied on 205 points with Expensive Daewoo driver Todd Kelly.
