Bad luck about the TT, hopefully its ok and not too much damage. Now, I'm off for a surf down at Fairy Bower to take advantage of this 5m swell! Pretty horrendous looking at the pictures on the late news last night. How’s that coal ship at newy - dragged it's anchors from 20km out and after getting hit by 16 metre waves and 100km/h winds it's now well and truly beached Good luck getting that farker out. I will have to wait until it is dry.

They've been with out power since about 5am Friday with no indication of when it may be restored, a huge branch was blocking their driveway, neighbors with a chainsaw helped clear it, gutters were also damaged. Worst however is most supermarkets and service stations cannot trade due to no power. They had to go to half a dozen servos then wait in a 100mtr queue just to get fuel and were only able to find a few candles/batteries as most shops are closed. Luckily they have the BBQ to cook on.With another storm on the way, it could be a while for power to be restored, it's amazing how much we take a simple thing like power for granted, there stuff all you can do without it.
