slipping clutch? doesnt sound good for an 07 lol

who ya getting to tune it xr6turbs

Yea think the extra torque upset it, just been slowly dying since tuned, but gonna slap a opt3+ in it. Kevin Geary has been tuning it. Gotta remember it not an fpv so doesnt have a twin plate as std.

@FOONIN,

Mate, probably going to get Torque performance or IPV in Taupo to do it, know if they are all good?

Will get the cooler, injectors and exhaust done all at the same time.

There is another place that I will never take my car to as my valve spring replacement made my engine even worse (unmentioned)

@xr6turbs

Im not a huge fan of IPV however I try to keep a neutral mind about this...

So seeing as your from Auckland I would take it to Torque Performance....hell If I ever retune my car Ill send it back there from chch. Robin is god when it comes to these cars...he really does know his sh*t lol

@Weiner...respect bro, your a brave man...right I end my tuner talk there :D...your ute still blue? Ive seen a grey one with dark argents floating around....

@rad very nice, sure wouldnt want to meet you at the lights LOL :P

*Edit: my theory is do it once do it right, thus why I went to Torque Performance....

@FOONIN

Yea it sure is still blue, havent seen this gray one floating around as yet. Is it a turbo also?

As for tuner yea I have heard bad things but then I havent had an issues with tune or anything from him. Its a hard one cause some people have issues and others dont. What experience have you had, feel free to PM it if you dont want to say it across forum.

I could tell you stories about local tuners...but I won't :)

@rad

What fuel system are you running. I would love to have the rest of your set-up :)

After spending so much why the standard dump? I was told the 4" dump gives some gains. You might even get that extra 0.4rwkw to make 400 :P

has nizpro injectors 044 pump,did score a process west surge tank off t/me but haven't fitted it yet.

most of the engine work was done by the previous owner and got the capa 1 flasher so if I do the dump I'd have to buy a new flasher plus tune so for the gains I'd get for the dollars spent I don't think its worth it at the moment?

@ FOONIN

Exactly - Do it once and do it right! Torque do have a good name so it will probably be them. Won't have to factor travel into the cost either!

You guys are lucky plenty of CHCH boys on the forum. Not many active ones up here.

@RIPTIDE

What colour are you and rims? Might have seen you around?
