Hi there,

Before I start,I flashed edit as well as new plugs into my baby on Friday and wow(a mission changing the plugs as it was)!

Nailing it from 80kmh and felling the front end rock back is a rush!

Interested to on some opinions as my car has 160000k on it now and what might be at risk.

It's been mine for 75% of it's life and never been really terrorised.

So making upgrades in addition to preventing potential death issues is definately what I'm talking about.

Fire at will!

Chris....

Fark man....that's alot of klicks on the odo....what model is it - I'm assuming at 2002 one considering...

2003-Lease pack car on a 3yr/135000km lease.Travelled 220km round trip to work at the time so long K's they are.Illustration was getting 40000k's a set of tyres with regular rotaion/balance and alignment, otherwise I had to pay for them(lease policy rules).

Finished the lease, a mate bought it from the lease mob and he kept it for 12 months.

Still solid, minmal rattles no leaks or stinks.

Where I live mate,100000k's is just run in lol....

Whats the difference between doing up a modern car than busting out on an XB with 351C? You can wind back the odo on the xb.

Nice avatar btw,Ace at his peak was a champ!

You shouldnt have much trouble with the engine as long as you get it properly tuned, turbo seals might need to be looked at if you are going to up the boost, other than that I think the only thing to worry bout is the driveline ie. clutch, diff...

Saw an 02 blueprint T ute the other day with 260,000 on the dial. The dude was a glazier. Apart from the interior being in a shambles he said the motor was fine.
