Black 18" Xr8 Wheels

Hi,

I have a black Xr6t with 18" Xr8 wheels and ive seen some pics with black xr6t's with black wheels and they look hot .. not many stock black ones thou.

anyone got pics of their stock xr wheels sprayed black ??

If you have photoshop you could change the color of your wheels to give you a idea of what it will look like, personaly I wouldnt spray them...

You will probably find the one's that look "hot" (and I'm a fan of black wheels on most cars), have a chrome dish of some description. The factory XR 18's won't allow for that, and I think all black will look crap - no offense.

Gotta have a dish to get away with it. Save your dollars and do it properly by buying a set of black 18" wheels with a dish. Besides, a decent paint job would cost near the same as a decent set of second hand wheels.

yeah good point .. I suppose the ones with the chrome dish do look the trick.

might just spend the money on an edit instead

sorry guys, I have seen a few black XR's (but with the stock 17's) painted matt black and I think it looks tops, a bit jap but looks nice

and I think FOR6D (something like that, a mercury xr8) has his XR8's painted a gloss black that also looks quite good too
