Supose this is drive by wire stuff...The last manual I owned (ok 20 years ago with twin side draft webbers) could never of done that without rev'n the guts out of the thing. Its a lot smoother now changing gears in normal driving....Must try it with our Honda euroYou can hold the gas peddle flat on a BA/F and it won't start either..........Don't try that on the Honda .......... I 've never seen your posts so..........there's not a link to this topic on LS1 forums is there? :bsflag: Edited 02/06/07 08:41 AM by Mr X

No downchanges unless it's safe. As if 5 thou is too high for a downshift But anyway, back on-topic. Should I be releasing the accelerator pedal between gear changes? Whats DSGMore in common with an auto than a manual, though it sh*ts over both, depending on how its employed.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct-Shift_Gearbox Edited 02/06/07 04:07 PM by Spruce
