I reckon that a boost guage could fit where the clock goes. Do we think this would work?I reckon it would be just the place for a boost guage. Done properly, I reckon it would be a great accessory. MRT did something similar for WRX's a few years back and we could ask him if its feasible if we think its a good idea. He is a mate of maire and I know him well.waht do we think Forum?. I am keen on aboost guage but if it doesnt look factory It wont get in my car. regardsDallas

I dont think they are real cheap though!

Effectively doubling the cost, and the work you'd need to do to put a round gauge in a oval hole. To me it wasn't worth it. :( When I see a BA fairmont at the wreckers, I know what I'll be grabbing though...

I'm saving up for some sweet HKS guages, that have the same black back ground , and neon-ish blue illumination, so they should suit the dash very weel, these guages are available with a pod thing that goes over the back of them for mounting in that type of possition. Unfortunately the cost of 2 (electric) guages, and the control module almost exceeds $1000. So you'd have to be ultra keen to go this way. I will get mine installed at some stage in the next couple of months.

So if you get one with a nice surround that you can shape to meet the plastic work then plastic weld or glue it in place with a good paint match it should look factory. Then you could fix it at the right angle etc to your view. Just my 2 cents on this.

I looked into this in great detail before fitting the boost gauge on the ute for my son - pics have already been posted months ago for anyone who wants to search. The only possibility is a digital guage if one is available ....
