But Summit Racing have it the cheapest. But they say they are nil stock... But yeah, about 5 days to get it here. For the guys that have it already, where are you mounting everything? Pump, reservoir??? Edited 13/05/08 11:05 AM by hanra

JA2473 Member 62 Member For: 16y 10m 9d Gender: Male Posted 25/05/08 11:26 AM Share Posted 25/05/08 11:26 AM I had water methanol set up many years ago on my XF turbo. I worked greatand am considering installing to my bf. For those of you wishing to do on cheap.. and I WILL NOT personally do it but it works..... A 6 to 8 psi pressureswitch and wire up to your washer bottle, then re direct windscreen squirtersto intake. use a mist spray from Mitre 10 garden dept.. This is how it wasset up on my XF (made cleaning windscreen costly) but can be done forunder $100.....

The pump will also have to be fitted near the reservoir so you will need probably an extra 6m of tubing.I used my washer bottle as the reservoir you can still wash your windscreen with the 50/50 water metho mix as most washer fluid is 50% alcohol anyway. The pump is very quiet, undetectable from in cabin. The wiring is a piece of pissYou will need a 1/8 npt fitting with the smallest diameter hose barb on it that you can get as the boost signal hose is very small that runs to the little ecu that runs it.

So you don't have to mount in the boot. Are you having trouble sourcing methanol?
