Yeah fck Rocket just get the kit from the "Warehouse Direct" link I put up otherwise go back through and check the aquamist? setup from where it was bought. They are all much of a muchness though it's the pump that needs to be quality (and nozzle)!

There are still a lot of people that are sceptical of water injection but it works... If you were going all out and chasing numbers on a drag strip or dyno Queen then you probably would be best using E85 or race fuel but for everyday added safety and gains it's excellent!

Dammit the caps aren't one way vented. I contacted the supplier and he confirmed they ran out of them so I have the old vented through threads cap. This worries me for meth fumes in boot. He is going to see if he can source me a one way vented one.

What do you guys think. It's dam hot in Darwin I fear 50/50 water meth filling my car with fumes when parked up in the sun.

Shouldn't be to bad and methanol won't just ignite in air. Once it's all fitted test it in the sun for a day and once it's dark put a welding helmet on and open the lid with a stick on fire! You'll know then if you have a problem...

IMO I can't see it being to much of an issue though. Out of the years of RC racing here in Townsville I've never seen a fuel fire (unless purposely lit with a flame) but have seen lithium's blow up!

You won't get the fumes in the cab as long as the back seats are up. You'll know though if you do have it leaking as your eyes will water but I don't think you'll have a problem.

Just checked the Snow kit and there cap is also just a plain vent through style. I doubt you'll have much expansion anyway as it's 50/50 so expect the boot will only get to 55°C at most... and that's on a heat wave which you generally don't get but what you do get is HUMIDITY!!!

You can always cover the whole top of the bottle and caps with something big enough to fit over it (3lt plastic milk carton cut in half?) and drill or notch some holes in the sides down low to let air in.

Basically making a cover over the caps so when or if it vents the vapour it will accumulate on the inside top of the cover like moisture. Like I said though I don't think you'll have a problem but if you did the above idea would be a fix...
