All, I am looking for different companies who provide car freight/logistics/shipping however you wish to refer to it from east to west.

I have found a few mobs, and they are all asking around $1300, just wondering if anyone else has done the same locations and if its been any cheaper?

For $1300 I could fly there and drive back and have change and enjoy a wonderfull trip.

Cheers

I just had my XR6T that I bought from Melbourne freighted up to Darwin. Also a painful $1300. That was on an uncovered truck from Melbourne to Adelaide and then on the train from Adelaide to Darwin.

Car was still probably 10k cheaper than the Darwin dealer would have done though :)

Yeah about $1200 is the best you'll do. You're not bidding on that white one on ebay by any chance are you? Absolute bargain if it stays around those $$ - I even thought about it myself!

mine cost 1100 from mel to Perth.

6000 k's to perth 12 lts per 100 @1.50 per lt that's about $750.00

plus 1 tyre $300.00 plus extra 6000 k's on the dial plus 1/2 a service $200.00

only advantage is you get here free and not spending 3 days in your car BUT if you havnt done the trip hmmmm id drive.

Melbourne to perth is only 3,428k's.

The drive across the Nullarbor is great.

Just watch out for the wildlife.
