The main banner above posts was removed and changed today as we were testing something with Google for targeting of advertising. This cheapened the site by making the banners look way too big and intrusive. This was just then removed and the old banners replaced.Sitebot has been enabled since the upgrade of the site and was viewable by guests and non validated members. It was not viewable by members or donating members. So your view on that it will stop people from joining is not true. It has been decided to enable it for members of the site as a trial. The Sitebot advertisement is not visible to donating members, or members of the moderating team. It will be reviewed again at the end of next month. The funny thing is you talk about future donating members, You yourself have been a member since 2004 and have made over 3000 posts, yet have not felt the need to donate to assist with keeping the site running. Maybe with sitebot now installed we will be able to get the extra funds to get the updated gallery, add a timeslip section amongst others..
