Was thinking of doing the same to as I got use to the middle muffler being removed in 1 week.. I actualy think the sound died down rather than me adjusting to it..

but if I had a ute.. I'd get a side exhaust coming out of the rear side skirt. then it will be loud =)

I've seen 2 ba utes with this done so far.

hey guys just wondering if any1 has taken the middle muffler out aswell as the back 1?ive got a turbo ute n ive taken the middle 1 out and got straight through pipes but its not loud enough for me...or tough enough....

I am thinking of also taking the rear muffler out and putting in some hotdogs....has any1 done this? and wat kind of sound can I expect? is this gonna make me lose 2 much back pressure or?........im not sure....also is this legal?lol :roflmbo:

will this give me any power gains? :spoton:

Technically it's not legal within NSW but also it would sound like crap. Youshould just remove the center muffler if you are heading in that direction if not save some pennies and get a qualoty exhaust which would be of more benefit

I'm still in the young bracket too! (50) :stirthepot:

I have centre mufflers removed and tried rear muffler removed for a while, sounded sh!t hot idling at the lights, but just a bit too much drone on the highway for me , so now I have two small sports mufflers (one each side) on the back, and I reckon its just right

I'm with Toxic Beast on this if you have a yoot they look and sound tuff with the side exit exhaust. Two mates have gone this track with BA XR8s and removed the mufflers - now they sound the way a V8 should.
