I thought they flashed your car if there were updates for your software.could possibly be this.not sure if it would be fuel filters.when tuners edit cars they still make the numbers on the older cars and they dont change fuel filters.

Ford will re-flash your ECU when it goes in for a service as there are new upgrades. I tell them not to flash the ECU as ours is tuned.

Changing the fuel filter every service is a must IMO as I have seen the crap that comes out of them and we run BP 98. They don't cost much just go and buy it yourself and get them to fit it and that way you will save the markup they put on it.

On the topic about the service,after one of mine, the car came out with an extra pound of boost went from 5-6.

Same with me, have never had any dramas with bp 98 but have noticed a very slight loss of power with shell fuels...

so how much extra is the fuel filter. I got my car booked for 30k service for Wednesday.
