Good to see great numbers being made on the stock manifold. Hold on, isn't it supposed to be very restrictive??? :w00t2:

:blink::blink::spoton: very restrictive

I just spoke to Dion, and my apologies to the thread, this car was brought to the track on a trailer, and it is his daily driver.

Set-up..

no weight reduction includes hard cover.

slicks and runners as rubber..

Factory Turbo, with factory turbo manifold.

Factory inlet manifold

Std head

Std cams

Std suspension

Built bottom end

One of their own exhausts systems 3-½ inches.

Capa $600 intercooler

Nos 50 shot

4 speed auto

Tuned / built and prepared by himself at

Dyno-Mite Performance 18 Tottenham Rd West Footscray. 9318 9196

website is up but under construction.

The cage goes in soon this will add a bit more weight, but he determined to do this at full weight as the car is daily driven, for obvious traction issues must use full slicks.

He will be back at Calder soon shooting for that 9 sec record, with a 4 speed auto with the above

set-up..

I have asked to be kept posted, when this happens so we can get it on video…

=======================

Spoke to (Mick) BLUPRNT XR8 he has video footage of the 10.2 pass, soon as possible we will get up..

Impressive stuff. This is the first xr6t I've seen on nos. Any dyno graphs available? What rwkw's and boost figures.

I know it's got a built bottom end but would be interested to hear of the experiences with nos. I know it acts as both an intercooler and power adder (more oxygen), how's it being used on the ute?

the old nos works good on a turbo car, with amounts like that, around 50 shot, you get a 3times jump in power (150hp) jump, this can be even more sometime when the intercooler is not big enough

to keep the inlet temps down,

its a cheap way to get power out of them, I am surprised more have not done it

Totally agree. Nitrous is definately magic, and im sure more guy's will start using it as time goes by, and more drag inspired car's start coming out of the woodwork.
