These lights in the Falcon do not have this characteristic.

FR "fog lights" do the same thing. They shine very flat and wide. Especially noticeable when it's off the car and turned on.

I find mine completely useless though

1. Because there is no thick fog around Sydney

2. even if there was they would need to be adjusted perfectly to shine straight ahead and not up in to the fog or down in to the ground.

It would be hard for them to book you considering 99 out of 100 cop cars drive with them on.

I have been pulled over and told to turn mine off by the fuzz, about 6 months ago! (given a warning) but since then I have been through several RBT's and not told once to turn them off? I have even had the fuzz coming down a hill while I was driving up with only my fog lights on and the fuzz held his hand up to block the fog light shine and nothing never happened then! I guess it just depends on who you get on the day!

It is illegal in vic mate, brumby has made it law that you will get fined, I think it was $112.00 if you are using them in clear conditions.

Ford list these as fog lights in there specs for ba & bf. I have been pulled over

and asked to turn them off twice now. Also if you have the pleasure of

smashing one $140 each. (my 2 cents)

Alright cool, I searched my ass off for hours trying to find anything on the use of fog lamps and it only ever covered rear foggies but it the fronts have been brought into accordance with the rears then it is illegal. Still not gonna stop me from using them

It's been illegal over here in W.A for some time

I've been done once for it, 100$ fine and my brother has been done twice, he's lost demerits over it (P plater)
