Anyone removed their fog lights and used the airdams for air intake? or used them for anything else...

Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find anything on it :P

Would anyone know if it is leagal to do in QLD.

And has anyone modded so say a inch gap all the way around with a light support bracket, so it can be used as air duct while still retaining the driving lights.

Do any OEM or aftermarket bars have this setup eg F6 or GT's.

I've spent some time mucking around with this kind of thing.

I made a 5inch CAI pipe to run from spot light hole up to the airbox (drivers side airbox swap) and it seemed to work pretty well, felt stronger on light throttle... induction noise was massive though.

Also I want to try brake ducting with these openings... this would work out very effective on the track as the stock sized rotors heat up very quick, so some forced air blowing on them would do wonders.

I usually have the spotlights in these days for street driving.

Saw this at the Nostalgia drags in Mackay in 2005.

I believe it has an oil cooler on one side and a transmission oil cooler on the other, can't remember exactly, but there is at least one cooler visible behind the passenger mesh.

Plus a couple of pics of it from a distance on the strip.

Yeh that's what I was thinking. can't use them the vast majority of the time in WA anyway, so thought I'd look into it.

what would a filter look like sitting there? like a ram pod or those little mushroom lookin ones? anyone reckon you'd get more attention from the fuzz?
