Don't worry they (or another dealer) will even the score plus some at one point or another in the future.

Got my 3k service coming up next week and as we know about the steering wheel and all I was just wondering. Would it be worth it just getting some pics and videos of my car with the fpv wheel on there for the "just in case" side of things. Do the different ford car yards ever communicate. Cause im not taking it back to the one I bought it from because where im gonna get it serviced is a lot closer to my work.Maybe im just paranoid ford is out to get me <.<What ya say. I got nothing to worry about right? :D

When I was doing all the paper work I decided to get the sports steering wheel. Well fortunetly for me when I picked the car up they had installed the FPV steering wheel by mistake. Being the nice guy I am I pointed it out to the dealer at the time I was gonna drive home. he said something along the lines of if you don't like it come back and we can change it back..The problem is I really like it. Now everything was going nice and peachy. Till the other day. The salesman called me up and told me the boss wanted the wheel back.. I told him no.. I offered at the time and its not my fault. Would you say im in wrong? It wasn't my fault and I did offer to have it swapped back..Also another few key points I've thought about.. Even if they take the wheel off me won't it be then classified as second hand? My mate bought a turbo about a week before me aswell but they charged him for a N/a xr6 price..They didnt ask to take his turbo back off him did they Also, like I said, I offered to give it back at the time of purchase but the salesman said I can keep it if I didnt like it.So yeh. opinions. Am I just being a *beep* or is it my gain that they f*cked up...Mate, nice score there! Keep it for sure....but I think we've all managed to miss the fact that YOUR MATE GOT A T FOR THE PRICE OF A N/A???

I had the sports steering wheel that was an option the BF T's and it is exactly the same as the normal xr6 t steering wheel with momo imprinted in the leather on the bottom of the wheel. Then they FPV steering wheel is that bigger chunky version. Whats weird is they both sell for the same price.MMMM just realised how old this thread was lol Edited 18/12/08 01:11 AM by massiv
