another question. is the ef el plenum the same as our Ts or they diff I rather cut one of them up in sted of the one on the car

The EF EL Plenum doesn't fit.

My manifold had the centre cut out and then TIG welded in the other way - looks factory. But you have to move the throttle body forward with that curved pipe - otherwise it hits the computer. Obviously the airflow is WAY better than having it standard.

The other way that was suggested CAN be done, what it needs is an aluminium sandwich plate inbetween the upper and lower manifolds that has all the holes in the right places. Someone like Kevin at Process West could easily draw up the patterns of the top of the bottom plenum and the bottom of the top plenum and then CNC machine a sandwich plate to suit.

I've got a std upper manifold from a BA XR6T in the garage. You can have that too if you want to have a play. Got a spare throttle body as well.
