I was not impressed, the dude didn't look old enough to drive.I am taking my car to my own mechanic, screw using ford, they all sound dodgey.fark that wouldnt surprise me at all !!!I even get my tyres changed/balanced/aligned at my mates Tyre Factory shop - they dont even drive the car and I dont have to ask them not too !! plus cheap tyres are a bonus mwahaha Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/35203-recommendatin-f6-service-in-perth/page/2/#findComment-548895 Share on other sites

He has always given me a good price and if there was ever a problem it was solved (someone hit a kerb in my car, they couldnt prove it was them but they fixed it in good faith)Then again, I have sent Chris there a couple of times and they have quoted a high price. I dont know why or what the difference was, but I guess if you get on side with them they look after repeat business.I also know the parts guy pretty well there (Peter). Top bloke and could not speak more highly of him. The sales team and management (including service manager) are also friggn tops Well my old man previously part owned centre ford and I would have previously always recommended their service because they WERE very good. For general service I would say they are satisfactory, but if you have technical issues go elsewhere, probably Titans. Centre fords ability to resolve small issues with my car has been pretty poor of late.... to the point where I have taken the car off them and fixed it myself. I haven't asked but I suspect they have probably lost some good mechanics to the mines or something?? I wouldnt have a problem with anyone else doing it their but I plan on sticking with him so I just fit it in when he has time..I'll happily let him take it all day and I've always told him if he needs or wants to drive it hes more than welcome to. Powers not an issue with him as he has a modded WRX (he secretly likes the XR's though!) and I know if anything was to go wrong it would be sorted ASAP.I suppose like everything car related. Find a good mechanic, build a trusting relationship and communicate lots!
