Ive had my XR6t for 2 weeks now and the airbag light came on and it flashed code 23 (Flashes twice then pause then three times). I rang ford and they insisted on me to bringit in and get it checked out. So I took it in and it cost me $100 for them to just clear the error codes. They claim they could not find the problem. Any who it was off......for about 8 hours. Its back on with code 23 again. So does anyone know what code 23 means? If its any help its an 03 BA XR6 Turbo.

Thanks in advance

Mine did this about a year ago, turned out to be a bad crimp connection under the drivers seat.

I soldered all the connections, and it has not been seen since :roflmbo:

If you decide to have it repaired, you should do it before your next accident.

now there's a quote if I've ever seen one :roflmbo:

Code 23 indicates a short or open circuit in the passenger side side air bag circuit. This code and code 22 appear after either front seat has beem moved after being in the same position for quite some time.

Check under your passenger seat... There loom which is on the same curcuit as passenger airbag, there is a connector there and it sometimes get knocked during vacuuming....
