Hey all, got a BF turbo 6spd manual and when taking off sometimes or driving really slowly like KFC drivethrough etc its clunky..you can hear it in the cab and feel it through the car.

Its not when changing gears just like when u power on a little then back off in first gear, maybe like a little bit of play?? it sounds like the box is gonna drop outta the floor.

Any ideas or are they all like this..

Well f*ck me if I didnt just get my car back today from Ford for the same issue. Gearbox chatter, normal they say all is ok.

I also first noticed it going through KFC drivethrough.

I'm currently using the standard Ford gearbox oil (by mistake), and I'm going to swap it out for Castrol Transmax Z as soon as possible, as changing gears was so much smoother when I ran it before. Also going to put in some Nulon G70 for good measure.

Gearbox chatter be gone!

Yeah I got the same response from fraud to...

I think the tranzmax z is the way to go.

What is the nulon g70 and what does it do? Is that the stuff that comes in a toothpaste tube a mate of mine was telling me about?

Thanks
