I got my 2006 BF turbo ute with the magnet pack- the hard top with the bulge- the sports spoiler- the stainless steel sports bars and a full tank of petrol for 42k driveaway even with 12 months rego. depends who is bargaining with them. they can really drop the price alot. talking to the manager is just a bullsh*t excuse.

Hey Guys

Im in the process of maybe getting a xr6t, I got quoted a few prices

white xr6t with just a hard cover with power bludge $41 000 drive away

or xr6t craig lowndes edition for $39 990 drive away

both manual....

hoping that I can get it a little cheaper considering the new Expensive Daewoo ute is out and also that is it end of model run out.....

Price on the Lowndes ute sounds good :spoton:

A word of advice... go the ZF auto or you'll come to regret it :crybaby:

I love my manuals but the 6 speed auto is awesome!!!

Meh autos are ok, I have a turbo auto skyline (with busted auto) so would rather next car to be manual, more fun.....

its amazing how much better a deal you can get when you tell the sales man you can get the car cheaper somewhere else.....

Yeah I've always been a manual guy, but since I went in a 6 speed auto I've wanted one :spoton:

Have you been in one yet??? Try get a drive in a modded ZF and a modded T56, you'll fall in love with the auto :crybaby:

I wish I came across salesman like that when I bought mine. Half of them were reluctant to even let me drive... they expect you to shell out $30+k on a car after being driven round the block in the passenger's seat

Anyways, good luck with the purchase and be sure to put up lots of pics when you get it :spoton:

horses for courses mate... I have one of each in my garage and I must say that the manual is more pleasing to drive as an overall driving experience... If your looking for comfort in peak hour then the auto is it.... but the auto does not give you the same control that a manual does!!

not bagging the auto at all but if you love manuals the auto just wont compare!!
