Gear changes were very fast but it took it's toll on the old girl, she spat second gear a few days later If your main priority is getting an ultra fast time, then smash through the gears and hope the box can handle it (unlikely). On the other hand, if your more concerned about preserving the life of your box (and your wallet) take it easy through the gears and get a slower time.
