Mine was one of the first BF 6sp Autos off the assembly line as I got mine in early Nov 2005 (build date on it is Oct 2005). So, I guess there must be quite a few coming off a 2 year lease towards November if you can wait especially from governement fleets. Probably will be flood of BF 6spd autos between Oct - Apr as people maybe looking at picking up the new Orion when it is launched.

Tried denmac, no joy unfortunately.

They have only one vehicle - advertised as a 6sp auto but is actually a 6sp man, and is in just about the only colour I couldnt live with, Toxic.

You should be able to pickup an ex cop car with the premo brakes and 6speed for under what you are asking.

They are starting to show up at the auctions now, but you may need to buy on the east coast.

Darwin will not have the same quantity as the east coast and the higher prices will reflect this.

The auctions here in NSW are flooded with these cars and although theyve had a hard life they are very well looked after with tonnes of warranty left on them. At the 29k mark and you going up to 35k, make the trip down when you find one through the auction websites. You will have a most enjoyable drive back!

There was a run out sale of 06 BA XR6 a couple of months ago 36k plus ORC for a brand new car. Just keep looking and dont be afraid to go interstate. Your budget is more than realistic.

So just checked. It was $34934 plus ORC for a 06 plated BF MK2 xr6 turbo. $9056 off RRP. That was manual add $1500 auto. They went pretty quick. Wait till the next run out when the new model comes in.

Cheers.. that's a great price. Sort of thing I'm looking for.. just struggling to find one at the moment! I can bide my time though.

Is there a BF3 coming, or is it straight to the Orion?

Were these definitely turbos? I've mentioned this to others and they were skeptical that they were not NA XR6s.

I just bought a brand new 2006 build/2007 compliance Honda Accord VTI-L for $32,000 drive away with 5 years warranty and 5 years roadside assist.

The car's RRP is $38k+onroads+leather ($43k).

There are bargains out there if you look hard enough. Call Australian Fleet Sales and trawl the online car sites like Carsales.com.au, eBay.com.au and Drive.com.au.

I am sure you will find your dream car for what you want to pay.
