No workshop manual available as yet for the ZF

Parts can be sourced from ZF Aust. or Motospecs all parts are genuine no aftermarket parts are available except for the pan and filter assy

As for trans fluid:

- Motospecs part # 749626

- Ford RI-28

- Shell ATF M 1375.4

- Mercon SP XT-6-QSP

Oil fluid is clear in colour, not Red

4.7L service fill

9.0L Total fill

The cooler won’t help you one bit apart from keeping the oil cool on low HP vehicles.

You don’t need to have hot oil to Snap the input shaft. Just lots of HP. So to me unless you do track work, the original cooler is fine. neither will save your input shaft.

What sort of HP are we talking about to snap the input shaft?

I dont see the point at this stage for a stall converter in the ZF untill we can access the software in the trans module

They modify the valve body to allow more clamping pressure at the clutch packs and shorten the slipage time they take to engage , valve body mod is $750

According to no 1 ZF guru in head office front input shafts are not heat treated as mentioned previous
