But I don`t know if its a split or just a leak form somewhere as its not oozing out.I am thinking of putting a transmission cooler in soon but obviously dont want to start anything if the raidiator is on its way out.I have mentioned the white stains several times to hpf and ford but they always said they couldn`t find a leak.Anybody know whats going on?anybody had a split radiator do they leak from top or bottom? If no, take the radiator out and get a pressure test done on it. If they did and it didnt loose pressure then I wouldnt suspect the cooling system. Could be a leak in the condensor or pipe connections for the A/C system, Its not likly as the A/C would loose its cooling effect, but you sould get a cooling pressure test done and if good get them to check the pressure of the A/C system. It could be leaking from the end tank crimp when it heats up and expands. If the car is cold when it is pressure tested then it wont show up in some cases. Ford_Power Member 798 Member For: 22y 1m 23d Posted 16/05/07 02:12 AM Share Posted 16/05/07 02:12 AM It could also be leaking from the drain plug which is on the passenger side end tank of the radiator.Cheers,Ross Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34962-white-stainsno-not-those-type/#findComment-533075 Share on other sites
