grepin Member 109 Member For: 18y 4m 4d Posted 13/05/07 12:15 AM Share Posted 13/05/07 12:15 AM I recently fitted some RDA slotted rotors bought cheap of another forum member.To keep it at a low cost am trying QFM pads.Painted the calipers and rotor hubs black as well.Fitted under Kaotiks.Rotors and pads cost me $145 all up with machining.Probably will go bigger brakes later.These are still the 295mm BA rotos. Think it offsets the shadow chrome wheel nicely. Looks better than this photo taken with a flash. Leaving the bar silver works good to I think. Not too much colour. Maybe a little spungy initially but still bedding in.The test is how long it can keep braking under heavy conditions.The pads should handle more and well the slots do what they do.I still need some decent fluid yet.
