I live near the centre of Dyno Country (Bayswater/Lilydale) in Melbourne

and was wondering if there is sufficient interest in having a Dyno Day in Melbourne?

please let me know what interest is out there and I'd be happy to go and try organize a day....

I have been on a few dyno's around here and the equipment is good.

Maybe someone has other suggestions or venue .... let's talk

If we get about 10 or so, I'm sure we can make a great day of it and learn the sound of our cars screaming at 6000rpms hmmm

please reply

BLKXRT,

At this point I will come and look in on the day but probably will not dyno my car. I do have a mate that has a x- Race Murry Carter XE Group C Falcon that may be looking to put it on the dyno at some point in a few months so he may come along and run it up..

If Anyone has any pics of this puppy racing that would be great.. No 18...

Good idea.

fantastic ... any example of car willing to stretch its legs would be welcome ..

hey ... it's a get together too ... it will take a while to organise and negotiate, will try for end of June (a month after Walhalla sound good eh???!!???)

so those still running them in should be well run in by then ...

let this be an open invite to the members here and their friends .....

I'll have a go at that!... Be interesting to see what the 290's are at the wheels?... I'll keep my eye on the post to see if the numbers stack up? ( 10, you say?, shouldn't be a prob!)....Cost?... But, definately count me in!

2 XRT sedans

1 XRT ute

the boss290 ( yep .. it would be good)

XE group C (oh yeah)

Mustang Cobra (hmmm)

***** WARNING ***** Dyno results can be soul destroying !!!:angry::innocent: :( :tears:

Rob (BLKXRT),

The numbers look good. The Group C XE is a maybe. It will depend if the gets the motor back toghether in time. Alternatively it could be a X-race Group C A9X sedan. (this little chev goes like the clappers.. Not as good as the XE though!) :D

Both are maybe's so dont count on them being there...
