mine did this 2 weeks ago, I repaired mine luckily I was at tafe and the machining workshop had the correct size drill and tap set. ford forums have a technical article on how to fix one of these and as long as you have the tools it costs a grand total of $2.20 for a pack of screws.

basically need a lathe so yu can drill perfect centre, drill each of the broken part, tap it out the a dap of araldite and the screw down the middle and wah-lah better than factory. need a 7/64" (2.8mm) drill bit and a 3.0x0.5mm tap set and a romak M3x30-35mm pack of screws that can be picked up from bunnings.
