Just like to say what a good mood im in this morning after hearing howards announcement on the budget.

Cant wait to see what kind of rubbish labour tries to come out with. They have their head in the sand as per usual, and it looks like it will stay that way. GOOD!!!

Good Work John Keep it up!

Of course it's never going to be good enough, the do-gooders are already on the radio complaining about the unfairness of the tax cuts. Those in higher income brackets are getting more of a cut in $ terms....still much less in percentage terms though! Bunch of f*cking idiots.

Good Budget??? Perhaps. Only time will tell, but I have real concerns about what it's going to do to inflation and the flow on - interest rates. Look what happened to the last round of tax cuts - got gobbled up by rising interest rates, and then some.

Guys,

I DO NOT want to see any abuse in this thread.

Wesley, you have gone on the attack early, I would suggest some subtlety on this subject, as it is a touchy one.

Please play nice or I will delete it and then there is no fun for anyone.

Overall not a bad outcome, I thought the educational endowment showed some real initiative for the future. That said I think more could have been invested in tackling the water issue, infrastructure particularly roads and transport.

I know that these are generally state driven but an improved and efficient national rail freight network would remove literally hundreds of semi - trailers off the roads which would be a big help in unclogging major aterials. Not to mention savings in road maintenance.

Then they'd be bagged for putting truckies out of work.
